Dr. Beverly Smith is a native of Concord, NC, and has lived most of her life in Charlotte. She is the devoted wife of Larry J. Smith, a loving mother and grandmother, home manager, licensed real estate broker, image consultant, and successful business owner. Most importantly, she is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, having been born again on August 19, 1972, and ordained into ministry in 1991 by Pastor Robyn Gool of Victory Christian Center.
With 53 years of faithful service, Dr. Beverly Smith continues to raise up a generation of Spirit-filled leaders who know their worth, walk in divine purpose, and boldly carry the mantle of the Kingdom.
Dr. Smith is the founder and president of Beverly Smith Ministries – Throne of His Glory, a global apostolic ministry dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel, equipping leaders, and transforming communities. She also serves as Director and Instructor for Life Christian University – BSM Charlotte Campus, where students are trained from the Associate to Doctoral levels.
A published author, television host, and trailblazer in Christian education and outreach, Dr. Smith has received numerous honors for her work — including an earned Doctorate degree in Theology, an honorary Doctorate degree in Divinity, awards from the City of Charlotte, and Chaplain Major ordination through the International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC).
Her ministry has impacted thousands through youth empowerment programs, community development, discipleship training, and apostolic summits. Through Beverly Smith Ministries, Throne of His Glory Summits, and the BSM Christian Training Institute, Dr. Smith continues to teach, mentor, and build leaders for the Kingdom of God.
